the wooden crate has long been held up as an example of lazy game art design a crutch that game level decorators have been falling back on for fifteen stupid years. Come to think of it, have you ever actually seen one of those wooden crates in real life? And did you smash it to see if there were bullets and medicine inside

ya I didnt think so.

That's an excellent point. I would like to come accross one of these wooden crates someday. And if I did, I'd like to think that I would smash it and find inside little packages of delight and goodness. Maybe some skittles, or even a rainbow! How special that would be. I'd cherish the joyfull occasiono in mine heart forever. A real journal moment...

But see, if you found one in real life, and opened it, whatever were inside would be full of splinters and wood chips and nails. Yuck.
